This frame is really classy looking and although I really like it, I'm annoyed that I had to trim the mat in order to use it with my 4x6 photos. I bought this frame to hold a monthly calendar where each month was printed on 4x6 photo paper. I was disappointed to see that the mat openings were only 3.5" x 5.5". For most photos, this probably isn't a big deal, but I lost Saturday on my printed calendar. Of course, the mat never looks as good when you trim it yourself, no matter how careful you are. So, be sure that you are ok with a smaller opening before ordering!
