This product is a good idea but made poorly and is not functional in the end. The line is made to break easily to prevent strangulation, but what this means in practice is that it is fragile and broke during installation of the piece. Our broke when we tightened the clamps on the line during the final stage of installation. Great.
Also, the clips fit too tightly on the line so that they tend to pull it (and break it). The clips have small metal tubes where they thread onto the line, and two of the clips lost their tubes while being strung onto the line because of the friction between the clip and line. Overall, a cheaply produced item not even worth the low price tag here on Amazon. We plan to go to a hardware store and get our own components to reproduce this item with quality parts.

It would not hang more than 3 pictures and the suction cups would not hold it either.
